Mission Statement

The Office of Translational Science (OTS) is designed to assist biomedical science faculty create and build interdisciplinary collaborative research opportunities.  By providing access to facilities and expertise in molecular imaging, synthesis of probe molecules, screening, structural biology and related technologies, OTS is committed to meeting the needs of both university and industry collaborators.

  • For Faculty: OTS fosters collaborations that enable preliminary data for competitive grant applications and other funding mechanisms.
  • For Industry: OTS builds the interface between Rutgers and the private sector; the outward-facing efforts of OTS are directed at building the success of local biotechnology and biomedical companies.
  • For Everyone: OTS provides a point of contact for accessing technologies and expertise within New Jersey’s biomedical ecosystem.
